Namaskaaram and Welcome to Vlogabonds!
We are two brothers who love travelling and eating food! (Quite obvious, eh?) Based out of a small village in Kerala, we’ve been fond of travelling since childhood. Our Achan (father) travels a lot, and this meant we were lucky at times to travel with him and Amma (mother) for various conferences/conventions during our school days. We’ve had many memorable journeys together, with one of the most special ones being a week-long stay at the Umaid Bhavan Palace, Jodhpur. Being pampered in the laps of royal luxury was indeed an unforgettable experience!
Another memorable trip was the epic road trip we took to Goa in 2011! We filled up the car and hit the road, and didn’t look back! We’ve always loved travelling and recording our trips but we never thought of putting it all in a place like this! You can be rest assured that we’ll be adding many more memories on the site via the blog and gallery, and you can even see an assorted collection of old memories in the form of the photos we have in the gallery right now!
Aravind
Aravind had the good fortune of visiting Fukuoka in Japan in 1996 along with some other children of his age to attend a children’s convention. Though he was a part of many trips, that trip probably ignited his passion in becoming an AvGeek, Railfan and a road-trip enthusiast.
As a Human Resources professional, Aravind has more than 14 years of experience and has worked in Gurugram and Dubai, before finding his way back to Kerala to pursue professional opportunities here.
He loves driving, playing/watching cricket and trying his hand at flight simulator games (in no particular order).g
Aravind is married to Geethu, and has two happy kids – Ishaan & Ahaan.
Govind
Having been a gamer ever since he was 10 years old, Govind also loved chasing after the next delicious meal and with that came travelling to all sorts of places trying to taste and try the different cuisines and delicacies available. A caffeine and pizza fan (who hates vegetables), you might not get the best healthy meal advice from him but he’ll always have a suggestion of where you can get the tastiest grub.
Having played many roles from an office manager to a teacher, Govind now works in the games industry but his weekends continue to be filled with good food and great trips!
